this song is such a comfort at the moment. i was recently cheated on, and i ended up leaving the person who cheated on me. we used to take walks together all the time, we would take specific paths and we shared so many special moments while taking these walks. i’m hurt, and i’m aware he’s moving on. i know that if i walk our former routes again, i’ll see him with the new person he’s seeing, but this song makes me realize that i am able to get through this and continue to walk through my special places.

I discovered this song on spotify and oh man, I just fell in love. Musically speaking, I think the arrangement is really so beautiful. It's jazz with a touch of RnB and the vocals are butter on a bread, most especially those jazzy notes and runs. Yes, this is obviously a modern song, but still, it has the traditional jazz element in it, it reminds me of the early times and early jazz singers. This is indeed a lovely song❤
