Solaris 11 text installation part 2

- Solaris 11 text install Part 2 covers the following:

1- Allow ftp access for root user
2- Upload the 2 repository images to the server.
3- Use the cat command to produce the last usable image and delete the 2 old images.
4- mount the image we produced in the previous step.
5- Configure the repository.
6- install the solaris-desktop package from the repository.

when i try to login from putty via telnet by root user after entering root and password window closed and disappear how ever i can login SSH by my user by putty
so any help
