Coolaroo Outdoor Roller Shade / Blind - install and review

Installed this in about twenty minutes on our back patio. Really easy. And really effective too! So glad I put this up, as it means we can sit out now without getting too hot or getting sunburn.

This model is the Wand Operated version, in "pebble" color. This particular one blocks 95% of UV sunlight.

just got mine today. I believe you can adjust the hanger’s position. And you could hang it “up side down” like how you wanted initially.
Behind the backplate, there are 3 screws, untight them to adjust the direction.

Just installed this exact same shade, but as a top mount (pull down). There are a few screws on the back of the brackets to change the orientation of the mechanism. You can also change the wand control from right side to left side. Hope that helps you, since you wanted to instal it "upside down" but thought you couldn't. Probably too late now though :-)

You will want to anchor the bottom. Trust me, if you get any wind at all...

My house is stucco...I wonder how easy this would be to mount to stucco.

Are both sides of the shade the same? Or is the back side the only UV blocking side? (I have installation issues and may have to install the other way around, with the outside part of the roll facing the sunny side.) Thanks!
