A few years ago Schirenc plays PUNGENT STENCH played a concert in Katowice (Poland) where I had the opportunity to talk to Martin. He turned out to be a great interlocutor and I regretted that I had not thought to interview him. Fortunately, the opportunity for an interview arose last weekend. They played a concert at Injure Grind Attack Festival V in Morsko and we managed to talk before the show. Bardzo ciekawy wywiad, świetna robota.

Pamiętam do dziś jak kiedy zagrali na zakończenie Merciless East Festival 2004 (Chełm, lubelskie), to na bis był kawałek _La Bamba, _ po czym Martin wyruchał gitarę na scenie niczym Hendrix. Jest na moim kanale część koncertu gdyby ktoś chciał (ale niestety—a może na szczęście—bez owego bisu).

PUNGENT STENCH was always the *real deal* for me… much more frightening and perverted than bands like CANNIBAL CORPSE, DEICIDE, etc. in the early/mid 90s.
