Evolution of Till Lindemann | 1963 - 2023
Till Lindemann was born on January 4, 1963 in Leipzig. Till has a younger sister named Saskia.
When Till was 11 years old, his parents sent him to a sports school. As a teenager, Till was very successful in sport, taking part in the 1978 European Youth Swimming Championships in Florence, finishing 11th in the 1500 m freestyle and 7th in the 400 m freestyle.
In the mid-80s, Lindemann became interested in music.
In 1993, guitarist Richard Kruspe, a friend of Till's, asked Lindemann to try himself as a vocalist in his new band.
Although Lindemann was having a hard time getting used to his new role, the young band immediately applied for the Berlin Metrobit competition. To participate in the festival, the guys prepared their demo recordings, which were created at the apartment. Unexpectedly for the young musicians their band won the contest and the guys had far-reaching prospects.
In 1994 the band signed a contract with Motor Music and released their first album a year later.
Its popularity only grew with each year, and the musicians never tired of shocking the public with spectacular performances and gloomy videos. Lindemann was ready for any tricks to stun the fans.
Lindemann married quite early - at the age of 22, but soon divorced. His first daughter Nele was born in 1985.
Lindemann is an atheist. According to the artist, none of the Rammstein members believe in God.
In 2019, the Rammstein band with Till released their seventh studio album
