Each year, we make reptile-safe dishes to celebrate Thanksgiving. This time, we made deviled eggs and stuffing! They were a hit with our reptiles!

An oil substitute for recipes you need to maintain moisture in, is apple sauce. Especially in baked or sautés, it does not steam off as much, and gets a bit sticky so it makes a good binder as well. Zucchini (green or yellow, grated) also works well, it has a lot of moisture and is neutral in flavor.

<3 love seeing which reptiles go mad for which part of the meal.
Fun fact: Paprika is made from what Americans know as bell pepper, and is in fact the name in Norway for it. It's also known as a capsicum!
It's also why you can get hot paprika, which is simply made out of more condensed, spicier peppers, since they're all in the same family.
