I think this camera is for people with very specific needs. I do think 2024 releases of all 3 are going to be insanely good and competitive. For me personally i can not stand editing and I need it as simple as possible. I also will need good night view. So The pause and record function for me will be huge and its easy app to put the video together and the nightmode. To bad i need a camera now lol. Next year is going to be the year.

Amazing footage from the Ace Pro and I’ve just subscribed 👌🏻 amazing review and vlog dude !! Ps I’ve been going to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland for years and never had issues with filming there but this year they have massively clamped down on people filming there so I completely boycotted the place and so did one of my friends who’s a huge funfair vlogger, it’s such a shame as I’ve seen so many people’s videos where security have told them they can’t film or not allowed in with a camera at all

Amazing, detailed review. Is the close focusing issue real? You look sharp at arms length which is good, but some say you have to hold the ace pro 2 feet away to get any sharpness on face.

PS You mentioned you had a DJI Pocket 3? (Wouldn't mine seeing a video comparison of the 2)

I have a Sony A7m3, Insta360 X3, Gopro Hero 4 (yea, 4 only 😂) and DJI Mic. I am looking for a handy cam to use altogether (beware of the 7-year old tech lover daughter) for family events like tracking, fishing, perhaps swimming. So, I focused on Sony A7C2 and DJI Pocket 3. After watching many videos about the P3, I began to feel like I could try to ignore how (relatively) professional A7C2 is.

Though; there are a number of customers who have issues with the flipping/rotating screen on the DJI Pocket 3. Personally, I don't either like that its battery requires replacement at the factory. These reasons made me opt for Ace Pro. I do agree with you about the lens cover on the Ace Pro. That is not a dealbreaker for me. On the other hand, it is so obvious that you are much happier with the Pocket 3 than you are with the Ace Pro.

Long story short, which one would you buy in my situation? A7C2, DJI Pocket 3 or Insta360 Ace Pro?

you do the testing about this camera. you should use only internal mic for viewers to hear the real sound while riding the bike. it doesn't matter the outcome but we want to hear as it is. that is testing

The low light video quality is quite good for me..at least for viewing on smartphone screens.
I watched some other youtuber's low light footage on PC screen..it's much more blurry & noisy.
I don't know if he didn't shoot it right or it's just the way it is.

I've never seen a bench that was closed before so that was educational. And the clock was really awesome. The detail in that so that it even shows him walk away to "paint" the other side.

I think your opinion of the camera as an "action" camera is spot on.

Was there any input from insta360 about the "cricket freeze" in the camera and was that running the latest firmware?

Pitty about no filming allowed. I guess maybe the go3 would be a better option. 😃
