Complete angle is 360° degree.
Your reason is wrong, earth revolved 365 time and 6 hours around it's axis while taking a complete revolution of sun, so your reasoning that it revolved 360 times is wrong.

The reason of circle having 360° degree is

1st you can cut the circle half way and you got two semi circles, the diameter is a straight line, and straight line angle is 180 degree.

So you are getting two seni circle =2x180°= 360°

Consider a circle with radius 1 unit.

Circumference= 2πr= 2π

Apart from degree measurement, there exsist another measuring unit of angle called radian.


Radian = arc/radius

So compete angle in radian

= Circumference/radius
=2π/1
Complete angle in radian =2π

For semi circle

Arc length = 2πr/2
Arc length = 2π(1)/2=π

Half Angle in Radian = Arc/radius

180 degree =π/1=π radians.

360 ° degree = 2π radians

Also you can say Zero degree = 360 degree.

0°=360°
