I'm an intersex individual as well as a rat breeder. I have only ever had one rat born intersex and they were a sweetheart but no one wanted to adopt Sammy so i ended up keeping them until the passed away a few months ago. thankyou for doing a video on the subject! Do you mind if i repost this to my Crittery Page so that People can be more informed on intersex rats? Maybe it will open up people to adopting intersex rats in the future?

As you should. Wish my boy, Blitzø would be a LITTLE less enthusiastic about committing crimes because I'm trying to keep him safe, but he's a chaos potato and I love him anyway even though I lose 5 years of my lifespan every time he escapes confinement and runs right up to the cats 😅

I did not know they had genderised personalities. I have 2 rats of my own (bob and egg rat) and they are completely opposite! Bob, when you let her down on the ground she emedietly starts exploring every nook and cranny she can find and she never gets tired. While egg rat is a lazy conesuer of various foods, limiting herself to one corner and eating vegetables 🥦 she is not hesitant to be cuddled with. She is 560g or 1, 5 pounds overweight
