I've been getting A LOT of messages on Instagram lately, from people getting scam bot replies here on YouTube, pretending to be me. They are being told they won a prize or to "contact me" etc... I've mentioned it several times in videos and here in the pinned comment, but the scam bots are out of control and I don't want you guys to get taken advantage of. I try and delete/block as many of these accounts as I can, but for every one I delete, another pops up.

HERE'S WHERE I NEEED YOUR HELP: If you're scrolling through the comment section and see a scam bot reply, just take a second to respond to the thread and let the original commenter know that it's a scam bot. I want to keep the comment section active, as it's where we can interact with each other and I love it! That being said, people are falling for the scammers, so we need to help each other out as a community. This here is the ONLY ACCOUNT NAME (with verified checkmark) I use on YouTube. ANYTHING else (even with my profile picture) is a scam bot. I can only catch so many of them, so let's all look out for each other :) Love you guys!!!

Great video. Three things that you can consider for next time.
1. I would wear eye protection any time I would work around those rod/mouse traps.
2. Maybe use a small bell for your rods once they are loaded on the traps. So you can hear better.
3. You can make some really good tea out of pine needles… it has a ton of vitamin C..

If you want the ice holes to Keep from freezing, just put in some rapeseed oil in the holes😄

Hi Leif, question about water supplies - isn't snow is a fairly clean/safe source of water (i.e couldn't you just eat it/melt that rather than getting any lake water at all/bothering with filtering)? Melting snow would probably use less gas than boiling water, too.
