The problem is Bama's style. Bama went all Lavell Edwards the last few years and lost their identity. It's now QB reliant, WR reliant and the run game suffered because of that. More time is spent in practice on pass blocking, routes, concepts and being finesse. It also hurts the defense because you either score quickly or are 3 and out. When is the last time you saw a Bama offense go 16 plays and eat up 7 minutes of clock while wearing out the opposing defense? This stuff is not Alabama football. I'm not saying go all Gene Stallings and run the ball 8 out of 10 plays but more Jim McElwain. Bama has had numerous opportunities over the last few seasons to end games with a ground and pound drive but end up going 3 and out and giving up the winning score. In 2015 I think Bama went on a 9 minute drive to end the LSU game. Get back to Bama football and stop trying to be cute. People will say oh, football has changed. I give you the Georgia Bulldogs and they show you it really hasn't . A TD is still 6 points. It doesnt matter how you get it or how long it takes. The "Bama way" of playing football is now in Athens Georgia.

I think it's funny they can name all these receivers but they left out one name on one of the best receivers from Bama behind Jones and his name is Cooper! I get they can only remember some of the new guys that came out of that college to the NFL but got put respect on Amari's name on what he did at that college

Proud Alabama fan of what this teams been able to do and accomplish. A lot of players on this team who came back this season to help these younger players on the squad. I believe any player that returns from the season will not only be hungry to win but as well as gotten much more teaching knowledge from guys like Bryce young or will Anderson or Jordan battle to help them prepare… which can be scary
