It's amazing how far the Monsterverse has come.

Not only did it make Godzilla and Kong relevant and popular again, as well as kick starting a whole new generation of fans but it also managed to be the longest going western Godzilla film series.

That's nothing to scoff at.

(Edit: Don't let the toxic Minus one fanatics ruin your hype and enjoyment for the movie. At the end of the day, there's a Godzilla for everyone. That's what makes it an amazing franchise.)
