MG Windsor EV Launched! #mg

The Wuling Air EV, dubbed as the MG Windsor EV, has been launched in India with introductory prices starting from Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The pricing is rather aggressive, but it isn’t the full picture.

This is part of MG’s ‘Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS)’ program, which requires you to pay an additional cost as per your usage, i.e Rs 3.5 for every kilometer driven. So you’re effectively renting the battery, which helps bring down the initial price of procurement of the EV.

Rs 3.5 per Km + EB tariff for charging make the running cost around Rs 4.5 which is very high after investing 10 laks that too with so many constraints which EV have..
Running cost of swift Z series will be Rs 4.3/- with no compromise and the price of basic Vehicle is 9 laks • We get better release vale, no compromise on Travel Distance, No need to make provision for charging at home etc.
MG should consider many factors before launching the "Subscription plans" as once it has become unpopular opinion among People, it's too tough for them to capture the market again.

Good strategy by Mg, no risk of battery replacement cost which can be there after 8-10 years.
Automatic Creta will cost one Rs16 lakhs, very logical idea by MG.
