The biggest challenge is that there are highly restrictive "sexual harassment " policies in place and many modern women use that the wrong way., which can result in a man losing his job.

Girl shows interest when I show no signs of interest, but once I show interest, she loses interest, and it leaves me wondering what happened.
However, I've realized that if a girl loses interest as soon I start showing interest, they are not worth my time. Those that stay interested after I show interest, are the ones who are worth trying to get to know.

Here's a few things I've noticed happening with a new girl where I work:
1. Any day we're both working, she's asking me what day I'm working next.
2. We both work registers, and she's only asking me for help if she has trouble with hers.
3. If I'm not on break, she only comes through my line and will talk for a while.
4. When I go to get my stuff for work she always wants to walk with me to where my stuff is, and walks with me back up front.

alot of these might not apply if shes shy though. im dating my coworker right now and shes only done like 1 of these things before we started dating. i was actually convinced she didnt like me but i ended up asking her out anyway and it all worked out. sometimes you gotta just stop overthinking every little sign and just go for it.

My only concern with flirting with a female coworker is if we end up dating and having a relationship and then it doesn’t work out. That leads to a very awkward situation moving forward

Woohoo...the cutest girl at work does all this stuff!! We always check each other out which makes me feel great because she won't even so much as glance at any other guy. I actually though she was a guy hater until she smiled at me. I think she knows I love her because lots of girls show an interest in me but it's her that I stare at and we both make up excuses to go where the other one is. All I can think about all day long is her and I LOVE it!!

The problem here isn't reading the tea leaves, it's the HR firestorm that potentially happens if you read them wrong. All a woman has to do in '21 is hint that she's being harassed and the guy is screwed. It's not worth it to even try, period.

Biggest challenge getting to know a girl at work for me is finding out how mature she is. Immature women are dangerous especially at work. If I feel she is bad at being objective or debating with her friends and loved ones I back off. I won't consider a female coworker if I feel like she would make the breakup worse than it needs to be if we break up.

One of which is that it makes it harder to open up to them (tell them your secrets), because if the relationship doesn't work out she may tell everyone your private stuff.
