My first teacher threw that lesson at me after 4 sessions. It hurt, it drove me kinda mad, but it stuck. That was almost 30 years ago. This is an awesome lesson!

Ear training over theory? Maybe I have been doing it right all along.

Is it possible to categorize every interval of every key and scale by moods of tone? Like, I would like a list of reference to create a basic tonal mood and efficient ways to cycle through others within the piece of music.

I can already write some beautiful bars but I desire to broaden my tonal vocabulary.

Is there already an established list of tonal moods?

...I just realized that my greatest guitar teacher is someone I have never spoken with.
