on the GSC my sitemap came back with error and said "missing xml tag" "site map can be read, but has errors

just a little question, it gets a bit confusing by 11:44 :
I just changed all my "URL slugs names" so how am i supposed to enter their "old name" in the URL Mapping since i just renamed them all ? 😅
also I updated all the clickable links on my squarespace website with the new "URL names", do i still have to do the mapping ? hopefully you understand my question haha thanks
