I've lived in Oxford most of my life and had a shall we say complicated view on the universities, the old town and gown issues....but I am grateful to live in such a intresting and beautiful would be nicer if the rent was affordable though...

Fun fact, our architecture is why we didn't get bombed in the blitz during WW2, Hitler loved it so much he wanted to make it the new capital of England and one of his preferred residence in his empire

New College also has New Buildings ... from 1899.

Tbh it was founded in the 1100s. So anything after like 200 years can be considered “new”
