In a Quebec prison in 1952, Bishop Bilodeau accedes to an unusual request to hear the confession of an aging convict. On entering the prison chapel, Bilodeau finds himself locked inside, held against his will, and forced to watch as the inmates stage an elaborate play – a recreation of events from forty years earlier, when Bilodeau and the confessor, Simon, were locked in a love triangle with another boy, the beautiful Vallier.

OMG… THAT MOVIE! THAT MOVIE! (saw the film in a cinema when originally released in 1996 and just finished watching it on blu ray just now). MASTERPIECE! the story, performances… I CRIED, I CRIED SO MUCH… ONCE AGAIN, now, almost 30 years later.

About time this classic masterpiece gets some love! It wasn't even released on blu ray and now we're getting a 4K restoration. Yes!!! Although I must say if the actual movie looks like this trailer it looks more like an 1080p enhancing than a 4K one. But still, can't wait to get this on my hands, I've been waiting for centuries! Second BEST gay movie ever, only after James Ivory's "Maurice"
