I love your weekly videos as well as your videos from the past. My class has been working on our first unit High Frequency Words using Find the Fish. They love it. I love to hear their excitement when playing but also how they help each other when they get stuck.

I am sharing this idea with my PLC tomorrow to practice our letter sounds. I can't wait to try it with the other ideas you and others have shared. I think changing up the picture such as fish whale, snowflake, etc will add that novelty that keeps kids interested. A very engaging game for some many different skills. THANK YOU for ALL you share!

Love this game! I’ll use it with my 2nd and 3rd year reading groups to reinforce blends and digraphs, r-controlled syllables (cork), as well as more advanced vowel teams. Thank you, Susan, for keeping us inspired!

Where did you find the "standing" pocket chart?

I love this! It's so easy to teach and implement. I'm sure you know this, but you can also use seasonal/holiday images instead of the fish.❤
