Sir, a database is said to be consistent only if before and after the transaction occurs the state of the database is not affected that is it should satisfy all integrity constraints. Then why are you checking in the inconsistent problem of simple locking above for A+B value in the intermediate stage of the completion of the transaction? Please reply Sir!!! Thank you.
