New this year from the Buffalo Bill Center of the West is “The Waters of Yellowstone!”

This virtual field trip is for grades 4-12, and here is what you can expect:
The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem contains the headwaters of the Green/Colorado, the Snake/Columbia, and the Students will understand watersheds, how the topography affects drainage systems, and why these watersheds provide life for humans and wildlife throughout the western United States. Coupled with our other geology offerings, students will gain a deep understanding of the forces that have shaped much of North America.
