This Week in Volcano News; Destructive Ruang Eruption, Kilauea Might Erupt
Показать описание
Earlier this week, the Ruang volcano produced an eruption the same order of magnitude as the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens, leaving a populated island completely destroyed. Elsewhere, in Hawaii, there is increasing unrest at the Kilauea volcano due to an ongoing magmatic intrusion. And, in a remote section of Tonga, the Tofua volcano produced an unexpected spike in activity. This video will discuss these stories and list the 47 volcanoes which are currently erupting around the planet.
A special thanks to afarTV for allowing me to use their livestream footage of the Reykjanes eruption.
