How long before harvesting a good crop? If I start indoors around january 15th and grow them in a pot on my balcony from latte may true mid october will it be enough time to get a good site plant and nice stems? Thank you very much. Have a very happy new year 2022.

I bought lemongrass stalks at grocery store but the bottom is dark, looks like they have molds.I have no other choice, I still place in water. Do you think it will still produce roots?
