For people who don't know what the tube and bottle is and making rude comments about it, you really shouldn't comment on something you know nothing about. It's used for a couple of issues such as low milk production, or for babies who got used to a bottle for whatever reason. It's meant to help baby get used to breast feeding or for mothers to bring back or increase their supply. It's meant to be used temporarily.

This can be used as a great teaching tool to show how if milk supply low or the baby won’t latch on that successful breastfeeding can be achieved. It is also used in classes for training Lactation Consultants to show what options are available in the short term. Please do not be judgmental until you know the reason the method was used.
