Komodo dragons have been known to attack and eat people, although such occurrences are rare. A bite from one of these lizards can be equally deadly, though, as their saliva contains about 50 different types of bacteria, and these can easily lead to fatal septicaemia developing from an untreated wound. The teeth are large and serrated, allowing the lizard to gulp down large chunks of flesh at a single bite. There are only about 3, 000 Komodo dragons surviving today.

Such a majestic creature! And yeah, life is hard for young komodo dragon, one of the reasons why they're endangered. Hopefully they can still exist for a long long time!

I've always been scared of Indonesia, because of Komodo dragons, but now I am tempted to go to Indonesia, because... Well I REALLY, REALLY want to become a media creator when I get a little older, and my first sting is going to be a Megalara garuda.

I’m not an expert but based on that information the Komodo Dragon as a species will become functionally extinct, and their species needs human intervention in order to raise their population. I’d like to add that I don’t want to see these lizards go extinct because they’re one of the coolest lizards on the planet. Also I have a question. Can all lizards including Komodo Dragons regenerate their tails, or just the smaller specie? I’ve never seen footage of a Komodo’s tail regenerating so I thought they couldn’t do it.
