Wow... Bungie says the 'TWAB' is No More...

New #destiny2 video, going over the new Destiny 2 News after the new destiny 2 TWAB (this week at Bungie) for June 8th released during new Lightfall Expansion and Year 6 of Destiny 2! The new Lightfall DLC is here! It provides a new campaign, new weapons, new exotic quests, and so much more! We have the latest Lightfall updates and news! Season of the Defiance has launched, with the Activity, New Exotic Quests and Exotic Missions and the Root of Nightmares Raid! We have all 3 new Strand subclasses (Broodweaver Warlock, Berserker Titan, Threadrunner Hunter) as well as new Strand Aspects and Fragments to use in new Strand Builds!
Season of the Deep has also launched! We have Salvage and Deep Dive Activities, as well as Destiny 2 Fishing, Last Wish Raid Weapon Crafting, The Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon, and more!

The whole reason for the Wendigo GL3 in the first place was the fact that it was a heavy with flash grenades. Bring back disorienting grenades on that thing and it will be meta again in some places. Yes it was also the first weapon to have explosive light, but I think what really made it special was having blinding grenades and it being a heavy

2:18 it's not anecdotal, Destiny has absolutely become _way_ more unstable since Lightfall launched. A few weeks ago tons of people were getting Weasel and Plum error codes, and earlier this week people were getting hit with a bunch of Centipede error codes. And last week, me and my friend were playing together and the game hard crashed to desktop for both of us _at the same time._ I have *never* seen something like that happen before in a game. I dunno wtf they're doing over at Bungie but they need to get this sorted out, at the rate things are going the game is going to be completely unplayable by the time The Final Shape comes out.

Has anyone else noticed how badly they lowered the reload speed for the Riskrunner? I broke mine out the other day to use in a Deep Dive and it's terrible now. It is like 15 on the reload speed. I know it hasn't always been that way. This is coming from someone with over 33k kills with it.

The server issues are largely because bungie upgraded the servers for lightfall, they are still dealing with growing pains. 🙂

Unpopular opinion, too many exotics, at least for weapons. They add 1, 2, maybe 3 each season, each DLC.. the exotic engrams are pretty much useless once you get everything in it. I always find my weapons full of exotics, struggle finding room for new weapons.. etc.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, I really wish we could have an off season where it was nothing but bug crunching. Fix all the issues in the game, no new content. The only problem with that is that "the game would be dead". Would it kill the game that much? The people who main this game won't care, they play it no matter what. The casual people might not mind, this isn't there main game anyway. If it fixes all the instabilities and bugs and broken content, would it not make the game better and be less of a pain on a weekly basis?
The fact of the matter is, we don't know what's going to happen to Destiny 2 after The Final Shape and they're gonna be having a Marathon division in the company when that launches. So either they're getting enough funds to handle to IPs at once or they're trimming people off of Destiny, thereby we're getting even less fixes for Destiny cause smaller resource pool. Will they go back and fix all the issues? Certainly not. But it would be nice if they had a team that could go back and fix all the issues (maybe even have a sign up from players that find an issue and then that goes in the fix list).
What will most likely happen is they'd just do a clean slate with a new version of the game and not go and fix any of the issues that aren't game breaking cause it's not cost-effective, even if it would make the community happier.
