The best thing of this set of armor that when you upgrade it for two stars, it will allow you to take no gloom damage from gloom enemies, just normal damage

They totally should've made the enhanced set bonus make you completely immune to gloom like the snowquill set makes you unfreezable or how the rubber set makes you lightning proof or how the flamebreaker set makes you fireproof or maybe a specific armour piece like zants helmet or the thunder helm

Alright I’ll give an extra explanation

You get each part of Depths set after meeting a new poe statue underground, however you get a part of the depths gear and then a part of the dark link gear

-You will first get the dark link chest piece (already unlocked),
-Then the depths chest piece,
-Then the dark link leg gear,
-Then the depths leg gear,
-And finally the dark link head gear and depths head gear

Coolest fit in the game imo, I know it’s not tanky but I like armor that makes me get good and learn to perfect parry and dodge.

The armor from the statues alternates as such: first statue sells dark tunic, second depths tunic, third dark pants, fourth depths pants, fifth dark head, sixth depths head. There is another statue after but I've no idea if it has anything relevant, doesn't seem so as my wife did it and didn't report anything worthwhile. It will always go in this pattern, so if you want the full depth or dark set, be prepared to spend a lot of time collecting poes as you make your way to each statue and explore. Happy exploring!

My main way of getting poes is I go to each bottom of the 4 chasms on the plateau, and go by the big bargainer statue then every blood moon I go back there to recollect the poes really easy method if your collecting poes every once and awhile

I’ve almost completed the game and I still haven’t found any of the other statues lol

Tip: if you pay to find the location of a bargainer statue it will mark it on your map. If you load a save from before the purchase, the marker is gone but your poes are back. If you remember the location on your map you can get a statue location for free.

If you would rather not pay ten poes to find the location of another statue then you can just go to all the locations in the depths with a large goddess statue such as the springs, the forgotten temple, and the one on the great sky island.
