Meet Pixiwoo My Favourite Makeup Gurus - Nadine Baggott

It's hard to find great grown up beauty content on YouTube - so meet two of my favourite - Pixiwoo, sisters Sam and Nic Chapman, who have over 2 million subscribers here and do the best makeup tutorials ever. They are funny, smart, self effacing and also brilliant makeup artists that get real women, real skin and they know what works and what doesn't. What's more they don't really do sponsored content because they have their own makeup brushes Real Techniques (and books and DVDs etc) ... so if they say they like a product then they really like it.

We met to celebrate the launch of their really clever new brushes that are a set that come in different sizes but all have the same shaped head - so you can choose them to match your facial contours.

We chatted about the new Multitech brushes, but also the biggest makeup mistakes and myths.

Love the video. My favorite advice is about the eyebrows. My mom told my sister and I that years ago, she had nice full eyebrows but plucked them all out and now she has to pencil them on all the time.

Hi Nadine, great interview. I couldn't agree more, I want to look my best self, with little product, in person & up close, whether I'm in the supermarket or out for lunch. I hope the insta makeup is a phase which will pass soon. The problem with looking "perfect" is that it can look unreal & mask like, and in some cases unintentionally like sex dolls or drag queens! There is a difference between looking flawless and looking fake. The red carpet examples Sam & Nic gave are exactly the look I would like to achieve, essentially great looking skin. My biggest beauty challenge is to find the right foundation, one that's not pink, not orange & not grey. It's a pain having light olive-toned skin. And yes, don't over pluck your eyebrows! Pixiwoos are excellent role models, I love their tutorials x

Wow three beautiful powerhouse ladies together!:))) Great that Sam mentioned Instagram eyebrows! Actually, drag queens eyebrows. They have to layer and cover lots, so eyebrows must go over the line too and I totally get it. To do copy/paste on beautiful female face, who actually wants to look better, is giving the opposite result. I hope it will slowly but surely disappear from Youtube where it was adopted. Hi guys I am addicted to both your channels ! A great watch thanks guys, my brows are non existent! I have been watch TAti and my god the Americans do there makeup very very different to us brits they look airbrushed and I know I can never ever get my makeup to look like hers she looks like a doll so perfect !, I think shall I just stop right now wearing makeup because I could never get it so perfect !
