Hundreds of demonstrators, members of unions, social organizations and political parties on Friday took to the streets of Lima to call for President Dina Boluarte to resign.
Others also demanded an increase in wages and retiree pensions.
The various groups protesting also demanded a government investigation into the deaths of dozens of people and the thousands injured during protests when Boluarte took office.
According to Peru's independent Ombudsman's Office, almost all of the dead were civilians and most were killed by firearms.
One of the most violent of the protests took place in the Indigenous province of Juliaca, where 18 people were killed in one day.
The violence led to further nationwide protests.
The unrest began when then-President Pedro Castillo was impeached and later arrested for trying to dissolve Congress on December 7, 2022.
Boluarte, who was then vice president, took over.
