AMT 1/72 USS RIO GRANDE NCC-72452 does not come with any clear parts for the Impulse engines.

I had to get clever.

Rather than remove the molded impulse grilles I masked them inside and out. Applied transparent smoke to the outside and transparent orange to the inside. The result was a nice, soft, in scale glow.
