Another thing you could do that would be pretty secure as well is to use a curved needle and some strong thread and either use the hair plugs or make your own holes in the head to be where you stitch because it’s been known that sometimes the glue overtime will get undone. (not always but like pretty likely or very possible one of the two.)
It also makes it easier to do the reroute because you can still use the plug areas without risking, breaking the rerouting tool as much
