I really like the Inlet, but at 6'4", I think my only choices are the Bay LT or the Haven TT

Great review to help people decide which Oru to choose. The size of the paddler and water you hope to use it on are the key decisions to help someone decide. My wife and I bought the Inlet and are very happy with that decision. Thanks.

Great review. While I have decades of canoeing experience, solo in a canoe - even sitting on floor in center - with any wind just doesn't cut it, so transitioning to kayaks. At 5'10"/225 eliminated Lake immediately, but also for another reason which also impacts the Inlet - length. Rented kayak at the local Wekiwa Springs SP and people were laughing at some photos of my large frame in a small kayak. That leaves the Beach and the Bay. But that also raises another issue - usage. Beyond the enjoyment of being on the water, I am a professional photographer and it would not be unusual for me to have a DSLR with 600mm lens as I quietly glide towards wildlife. While I would like a closed Bay for several reasons, question if I would be able to manage the extra gear. Appears that the Beach may be the better option and perhaps skirting to protect gear.

yea size makes alot of difference.
If i had the option to try them all i probably would have went for either the Coast of the Haven.
as the Bay ST i got is mostly great but i'm 177tall and i got extra large feet.. and my feet dont fit well in it.
so i would have either gone for the Coast as its bigger. or sacrifice the closed and smooth part and go for a double seater so i could take someone else with me whilst garanteing my feet fit.
