The world's oldest and the most complete Hebrew Bible was sold at a staggering price of $ 38.1 million on Wednesday, becoming the most expensive book or document to be sold at an auction. The holy book named codexassum has been brought by Alfred H Moses a former US ambassador and president of the American Jewish committee Moses will be donating the Bible to a museum of the Jewish people in Israel's Tel Aviv City.

It is heartbreaking to see a price tag on a world treasure which is priceless.
The auction representer was holding the handwritten ink pages with bare hands without gloves and who knows in which state it is being held and carried right now. 
It should have been kept in a special climate controlled room as a world treasure, not being sold to individuals, nor commercial agencies.

Is it the real book...? The pages looks as if they rewrite them and the ink looked fresh. The ink should look dry and dull, kind of brown to grey and the pages open too easily....
