The new Disney logo was unveiled at the D23 Expo on September 2022 in honor of their 100th anniversary. The new Disney castle introduction features Tinker Bell flying over a riverside village and up a waterfall that leads to the iconic Disney castle, now platinum.

The new logo is created by The Walt Disney Studios and Industrial Light & Magic VFX, along with an all-new arrangement of its signature theme “When You Wish Upon A Star” by award-winning composer Christophe Beck.

It was first appeared on Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Strange World” and it will appear in all upcoming Disney and Pixar films throughout 2023 and beyond.

I saw this film on the big screen when it first came out last month, and seeing this new logo attached to the beginning of it brought back that sense of something that was lacking in the company for many years now…

I get that this is an anniversary logo but it's all too busy and overlong, taking the issues of the '06 logo and dialling them up to a thousand. It's like Marvel set a new standard for studio logos, that one should just hammer iconography into your eyeballs every ten frames incessantly for 40 seconds, no major studio logo should be that long or this crowded

First appearance of the 2022 "100 Years of Wonder" logo from Walt Disney Pictures, although it was revealed at the D23 Expo in September 09, 2022. I hope this will also used on Pixar movies, beginning with "Elemental" and Disney+ original movies, beginning with "Chang Can Dunk".

I first saw this at AMC theaters, and I was like? Why is the logo beginning different? Then I realized that star coming out of nowhere and then realized, did they actually remake this entirely? I watched Disney movies a lot when I was 1 in 2009. I think I watched more in 2010 as growing up and all the sudden, they now celebrated 100 years with all a brand new logo! I might have Disney celebrate 120 when I reach 36. I am now plotting that as one of my teenhood memories! Oh, I can’t wait to see Disney’s upcoming anniversary in 2042. It’ll be exciting! And celebrating WDW’s 50th Anniversary was also worth the price!
