NEW YORK, September 17, 2020 —The first program in the three-part series Harmony and Dissonance: Deconstructing Ethnicity and Agency in America, this panel addresses the legacy of a transformative moment of racial unity in the 1960s, fluctuations within these relationships over the last seventy years and into the present moment, and their common desire for social justice and equality.
Panelists include New York University Department of Arts, Culture, and Media Alexandra Chang, Curators Without Borders Executive Director Heidi McKinnon, and activist, author, and journalist Helen Zia.
