hey my friend i too have often thought about getting a guided system. but would much rather free hand albeit i am a beginner. people slag off the lansky system. you use one, what are your thoughts on it ? as it is fairly cheap, did you check out the hinderer investigator pens ? 👊👊

I have this set. Be careful not to overtighten any of the screws. They're seated in soft steel and aluminium and I managed to strip out the screw on the angle guide. I replaced the angle guide with the metal one, but that only arrived today so I'm yet to try it out.

Great, been wanting a voice I can trust on this guided system. Waiting for the full rundown. My concern is the clamp is a little big for my folding knives...nothing longer than 3 inch blades
