Give that brave woman a medal. Shame on Bruce Harrell and ANYONE ELSE complicit in his murderous sweeps across houseless communities in Seattle. SOLIDARITY with the community of fierce advocates, activists, mutual aid service providers DOING THE CITY'S job of keeping communities safe. SHAME ON YOU BRUCE HARRELL

The Clean Team does an excellent job picking up the trash and cleaning the sidewalks at 2nd and Blanchard. Unfortunately however, without the combined efforts of the SPD actually breaking up the loitering (in the dozens), addressing the smoking of illegal drugs openly next to our windows, and convicting the drug dealers, it feels like everyday, the problem is getting worse. The vagrants are now acting like it's a 'speed-run' to litter as much as possible in 24 hours - knowing all their garbage will be cleaned up the next morning, so it's become, 'enabling bad behavior' 🙄.
Again, the Clean Team is great, but without the SPD helping to 'clean up the street' themselves, it's a nearly pointless effort.

Thank you Mayor Harrell. It’s unfortunate you have to deal with lunatic residents screaming the same brainwashed words. Thank you for your composure as a mayor and for bringing Seattle back to its glory.
