I'm using a Sonor Conga Basket stand turned upside-down, and while it's not perfect, I think it has at least the same stability as the multipercussion stand. Two friends built me a caddy into which I sink the stand, so I can rotate the pan as I play, though it's a bit noisy to do that. The way I use it, the height of the stand can't be adjusted, but still it works out well for me.

What is the maximum height of the stand when is fully streched out? Can you play handpan standing? I'm looking into buying this stand but i'll need it for playing handpan standing up and i can't find info on height anywhere. Thx!
