Required Cybersecurity Skill: Understanding Basic Networking Concepts

Показать описание
In this video, I'm taking it back to basics. I get asked ALL the time where to start to get into cybersecurity. Understanding how networking works at a fundamental level is critical. It is a required Cybersecurity Skill: Understanding Basic Networking Concepts If you don't know how computers are suppose to talk to each other, how do you know when they are doing it in a malicious way, or how to take advantage of weaknesses. The OSI stack is the model modern networks use and it is paramount to "get" it. I run through OSI, and give practical examples. Then I show you how to use Wireshark to visualize network traffic. It's less cyber this week, but just as important in your career.
