You can also do this for the Barrow dyad catalyst. Plus the quest for it is retroactive.
This means if you did what I did and put on the smg, a sniper, and a linear, you can complete the quest in one run.

Just play the game most "cheeses" Just take longer than doing it normal now

Its so boring when you can actually play for that tim period and take out 3-4 bosses without being a try hard

Yeah I got to 13x for a few runs on expert and didn’t get any adepts, it’s just like the nether where there’s no real point in going further than first encounter.

It’s more challenging and not rewarding and with the added layer of wanting gold border weapons for runneth over, bungie fumbled so so hard

I would like to get a team together that could help me out. I haven’t started on at two yet that could help me progress the quest and start farming these adept weapons. I could really use the help.

Bungie keeps doing it: Make a new, fun, challenging activity, and people will find the laziest way to farm it.

Just play normally. You can beat 5 bosses without much trouble. No need to just sit and wait

1 boss I kill 2-4 bosses solo not that hard to do don’t listen to the YT influencers saying you have to do one to get adepts content is far easier than you think

If you’re an active endgame player none of these guns are best in slot. So not even worth the farm

Also, you can waste 10 minutes of your life…get a life, get lf2m and knock it out, have fun!

Or… hear me out.. just play the entire activity which takes the same amount of time as it would to wait the timer out, and you get far more loot from it, this isn’t even remotely optimal 😂😂
