There are two separate issues. One, the claim on Sabah (whether lease or cession) is debatable. Two, invading Sabah with two hundred armed men who refuse to leave and are ready to die is clearly terrorism which no government can condone.

There are two Kiram camps – the militants and the non-militants. It is unfortunate that the militants have threatened the non-militant Kirams and the governments of Malaysia and the Philippines. This has jeopardized the Kirams’ claim on Sabah.

Ok, people here seem to think that Aquino is doing nothing in regards of the sabah crisis. Yet he called for negotiations to take place, and told the Malaysians to be as lenient as possible, in handling the situation. When the fighting broke out, he also organised the evacuation of Filipino nationals living in sabah to Mindanao.

The number of possible voters outnumbered the 50+dead people in Sabah. Long term issue is more important to him than the short term issues we are facing in Sabah. Sigh, he can't handle this issue and let Filipinos die out there.
