Thanks for the review. I've recently started buying Teva sandals. The Universal (aka the "urban") is better for just casual, everyday wear. What you've got (the Hurricane) works really well for more intensive hiking or long walks. I've got a pair, as well as the Terra Fi 5, and they're really comfortable once you break them in a bit.

The pair you're wearing seems pretty big. The thing about Teva, I've noticed, is your foot tends to slide backwards a bit, leaving even more space in front of your toes. I've found it helpful to go down a whole size. My first pair had about as much space as the ones you're wearing, and they just weren't working for me. I switched to one size down and they fit perfectly.

I use these to kayak in and they work great. Plenty of traction and dry fast
