The Snowman is perhaps best known for its vocal version of "Walking in the Air." However, from a scoring perspective, this film was quite an accomplishment. With the exception of a brief narrated introduction, the film is silent throughout. Howard Blake's expressive score is 25 minutes of uninterrupted music. Here's just a taste of it from the beginning.
