At first, I wanted it to be Star Trek Armada, too. But it actually seems much more like its own type of game that brings in all the best bits of Star Trek. I'm super excited to get this on my table. LLAP!

They were able to pack in all of the mechanics for great narrative play and make the combat fun? That sounds pretty rad.

I love that it seems so multilayered and not just about combat. I also love the different stations and their functionality, just like youre sitting on the bridge.

It's got my mind racing thinking about how they could introduce different sections aboard the Enterprise, like 10-Forward, or the holodecks, or even Cetacean Ops. There is so much potential here.

Without such a combat focus, it might be possible to introduce a solo mode that could feel like those in-between episodes.

My only complaint (not having played it of course) is that Picard is positioned in front of Sisko. It's the Dominion War! Come on.

Thanks for the video - this wasn’t what I expected in the game - like you I was thinking this was going to be an X-Wing reskin. This looks really thematic for Star Trek fans and the potential for narratives is seemingly unlimited and will get even better with future releases. Great overview of the game. Thank you!
