Why is no one interviewed the man who landed the plane?? They're only interviewing the instructor who talked him through it

This just goes to show you that if you put your mind to it and listen to your teacher you can do anything.

Downright impressive. Been on tons of military flights. Only 30 seconds of pilot time myself. But that quip about keeping the wings level... The US Air Force should love that. It's in in their anthem.
"Keep the wings level and true.
If you'd live to be a grey haired wonder
keep the nose out of the blue!"

Oh wow well good thing you had the courage to take over the flying not too many people would have been able to do any of that. Thank you for saving all your lives.

THIS IS THE ULTIMATE "CRASH COURSE".

"When the STUDENT is ready, the TEACHER will show up."

INTELLIGENCE END RESULT IS, ALWAYS A "PERFECT LANDING".

Two awesome people. I'm so happy for them. I hope they keep us updated on the poor pilot.

Even though this looks like a small Cessna to a layman, this is actually a quite large and heavy single engine plane. A turbo prop with 600hp and a constant speed prop, which ups the difficulty factor for a landing. On the flip side, this is one of the easiest planes in the world to fly. As easy and forgiving as it's smaller brother the 182 or even 172. Good job here.

He was plain lucky. A Cessna caravan is a complex aircraft and nothing to mess around with.

This is an example of something everyone could do but no one could do. If there was no risk of death or pressure then most people could probably do it. But in a do or die situation this is incredible to do with the amount of pressure.
