Within 4 weeks I lost 14 pounds by going on an extreme diet no soda no candy limited my portions eating alot of sugar free and carb free substitutes like zucchini pizza boats rather than pizza no fruit juice lemonade just water and no sugar ice tea I consume about 900 calories a day it was hard at first but I'm doing this becauseim type 2 diabetes my height is 5"9 and used to weight around 257 pounds then within another week I lost 5 pounds so a total of 19-20 pounds 😀
Old weight- 257
New weight - 238

I'm hoping to lose more weight to keep my a1c levels good

You gain it back if you start eating over your maintenance calories.
It's simple science. Calorie deficit to lose calorie surplus to gain.

I restarted my journey May 17 at 293. Today is June 16 and I'm weighing in at 273. I do light to moderate cardio for 45 mins 6 days a week, intermittent fasting 16:8, cut all soda and sugary coffee, and track my macros. It's literally a lifestyle change.

6 weeks would be better, first 20 lbs barely counts as it’s mostly water, the next 20 lbs the real deal. But then increase ur calories by a 1000 a day for a week so like 1900 and then see if you gain weight or not. Make sure to get the right amount of protein and eat tons of veggies and fruits

I actually did something close to this lost 15 in less than a month dropping to 1200 calories and I haven’t gained it back

Trying to do this! Extreme diet/moderate exercise. Trying to be 30~60 lbs down before August.
Currently *204* lbs 5”4 I have evenly distributed fat except middle of my thighs and little hanging stomach here with a muffin butt trying to tone it, I have acanthosis nigricans due to obesity hopefully it goes away in this process,


Only fruit and vegetables (mostly low calorie vegetables)
I am water fasting/ breaking fast with one meal that is 400-1000 calories the next day/ cardio- 45-60 mins walking/jog everyday no matter what ( will add ab exercises(hanging leg raises/scissor kicks) will try to also add glute workouts in the schedule)

I am currently on day 2, I did water fasting, I wanted to do 48 hours, the first day was fine did 4K steps but after walking 15k steps the next day I just threw up water plenty of times and felt nauseous. If I ever push myself to do 15k I’ll make sure I eat 1000/400 calories first then fast for a day and a half to be safe. Fasting gave me so much energy to do 5 miles phew! Not really hungry for unhealthy stuff anymore just eating to survive now, except these one favorite chips I enjoy 😋 I’ll buy them once I complete my goal to reward myself.

false lost 40 pounds this year but with added weights and guess what kept it off and now I eat 1800 cals a day and do cardio 3 times a week. So thats a lie.

If you burn the same amount of calories you eat after your done with the one month you'll be fine

It doesnt work that way trust me, i was 235 pounds on my frist month i lost 19 pounds just by avoiding all types of carbs and doing light cardio lile walking 2 hours a day, now i'm at 210 pounds after 2 months and just staying in a calorie deficit and doing small weight lifting and cardio 3 times per week, as well as trying to reach 10, 000 steps a day, loosint weight it's simple but you need dedication

I actually lose 50 lbs in about 2.5 months and have kept it off. Problem is I’m still overweight and have been Same weight for 2 years.

260 to 237 in a month fasting 1 meal a day only from 2pm -8pm and doing cardio daily and I only eat around 600 -800 cal a day but I just started doing the cardio 2 weeks ago

1500 calories a day 30 min cardio everyday 1-1.5 hours of weight lifting everyday gallon of water plus one cheat meal a week (still in deficit even with the cheat meal) a little less than 30 pounds in about 2 months but started at 264 so lost alot quick and then it went down to 1-4 pounds lost a week Am i at risk of gaining all of it back when i go back to maintenance calories?

I've lost 48 pounds in just under 5 week's around 22kg but its very dangerous not many are strong like myself it will harm you but it is possible i did it 🎉
