Salvation Army and other church resale stores are far less expensive than GW..Don't forget to stop in at local yardsales while passing thru little towns. The part I love best about thrifty, not only does the item serve a purpose, but when it doesn't and because I paid so little for it, I can donate it back when thru. It's a WIN-WIN.. THANK you for sharing.

Saw a silicone dish pan on the shelf . Collapses flat to save space. Have one and we love it

This is exactly why we love following you. Never thought or think about places like this…brilliant even for the odds and ends you may need. Now I want to head to our local stores and see what great finds we can see!!! Thanks Charity!!

Collapsible laundry hampers that zip are so nice to carry beach ball, buckets and Life vest to and from the water! No sand left in the basket and keeps the trailer cleaner!

If you will be using an induction cooktop maybe bring a magnet to test any pot or pan for usability on induction.

You have disclosed my shopping secret. This is how my wife and I set up household together in the late 70's. And our RV was no exception. Excellent suggestion to get plastic dinnerware. My rule is if you can drop it from your highest cabinet and not break it. It works in your RV. My best finds at Goodwill for our RV is a $12 flatscreen TV and $2 music CDs.

We have found great treasures for our RV going to thrift stores and Goodwill. Wherever we travel, we always check out those stores!

I love thrifting however the sad thing is that thrift stores (especially Goodwill) have been raising their prices to the point where it's often cheaper to purchase the item new. The plastic storage boxes - you can purchase them new from Walmart or $Tree for less than Goodwill's half price. As with anything, you really have to check and double-check the prices. Don't just assume it's going to be cheaper because it's at Goodwill.

Hospice Thrift Stores, Salvation Army and Humane Society Thrift Stores are the best.

I spent a week in my new travel trailer and wrote down stuff I needed. Then hit the thrift stores. I am going to eventually build on my land, so i only want to buy what can be used for a long time.
I'm sewing my own window covers now using a car sun shade and burlap style place holders. I'll velcro them over the skylights and bathroom window.

As UNL alumni, always love to see your Nebraska shirt! What a nice, clean Goodwill; great video.

I've gotten ALL my suv, no-build things from thrift stores👍! My favorite is the red metal toolbox, just big enough for my butane stove and some cooking utensils. It's about 3 ft. tall x 2 1/2 ft. deep, with a cute little door and inside shelf. It's my little kitchen away from home.

I bought used Corelle dishes for my trailer. They're pretty sturdy, and if they do ever break, I'm out very little money.

Temu is your best friend when buying for your RV. They beat Goodwill prices most of the time.
