Vermilion Snapper Fishing in Fort Lauderdale

Vermillion Snapper also known as beeliners and similar to a red snapper are great fish to target off Fort Lauderdale for the meat quality. We generally catch them in the summer months and target them when the seas are calm as to position the boat overs structures and drop the baits down to them.

They get as big as 24 inches and about 5 pounds, but more common are the size we catch in this video.

The Minimum size limit on a Vermillion Snapper is 12" TL.

You are allowed to keep 5 per person and the season is open year round on them.
