You can skip all of the harmful chemicals. I do. I use Hypochlorous acid. I'd recommend 200ppm (0.02%).
As for pressure washers, I'm thinking of buying the battery one by EGO.

get you some thin coveralls for summer and heavy ones for winter. You can get them waterproof as well. You can get as dirty as you want and before you get back in your car just take off the coveralls.
