I still remember the month and year I gave my heart to God, the day I picked up my Bible for the first time on my own. I remember clear as day standing in my 1 bedroom apt my 4yr old and infant asleep. And I started talking to the air, pretending it was the devil (which is funny because he is the prince of the air of course I didn’t know that then, i was still learning ) and telling him that that was what he wanted. It was my soul!!!! I was listening to a cassette recording called, it’s a battle for your soul… and it clicked I was close to turning 24 at that time.
And I’ve made my share of mistakes in the last 26 years since then that i had to repent for. But if there’s one thing that I can say with confidence is that I have not done evil by turning from my God. He is still my savior, and he is still the King of my heart. Taking me from glory to glory, and teaching me his Ways. daily. This Christian walk is a journey of discovery. And our relationship with the Almighty God and his Holy Spirit is so important. This is a great spiritual warfare tune.
